The current political process is rigged. After 235 years, we must update the rules to serve the Citizen, not the career politician.

Demand Accountability

No more free passes. We must provide CLEAR directives to our representatives and FIRE them if they refuse to listen.

Meet Mark Sims

I’m Mark Sims, a resident of the Texas Hill Country and candidate for U.S. Senator for the State of Texas.

I am not a politician. I am not a political activist. I am an ordinary Citizen. I am just a guy that still believes this experiment in self-government in the form of a representative Republic is worth fighting for. Too many have sacrificed too much for far too long to let it slip away without a fight.

I am a Texan and proud of it — both sides of my family trace their Texas roots back to the Republic…one a newly released bondservant upon reaching the age of 21. From the piney woods of East Texas to the Metroplex to the high plains of West Texas, my family has lived, worked, served in the Armed Forces and worshipped alongside many of you.

As a young man, I was privileged to serve as an officer in the United States Army. Trained as an engineer, my approach in civilian life whether as a project manager, software entrepreneur or tech executive has always been to ask “why not” and resolutely move forward rather than get trapped in analysis paralysis. Identify options, test, iterate. Get up, move the ball forward.

I’m not running to join the circus in Washington D.C. — I’m running to REFORM it—to end the gamesmanship, to end the partisanship, to end the gridlock and to make the federal government less intrusive and more responsive to the collective wisdom, experience, and common-sense we Texans are known for. Join me and let’s just FIX it, DAMMIT!

The Plan

America faces a series of significant urgent challenges. It is the same list with a slightly different sequence each election cycle. Nothing is ever solved.

We haven’t and we won’t solve our many challenges with the broken political process in Washington DC today. We need to CLEAN HOUSE, get a new crew with different incentives and motivations, operating under a reformed set of rules.

We have surely learned WHAT is broken in the 235 years since the US Constitution went into effect; but we have not stopped and conducted a thorough review, made wise decisions and implemented corrective reforms.

It is well past the point “We the People” bought a giant can of “BONDO” and went to work repairing the many “cracks” that have developed in the body politic.

Elect a truly INDEPENDENT Texan as U.S. Senator on Nov 3, 2026.

Leverage that independence on behalf of Texans and all Americans.

Formalize & finalize the language of the Bill of Reform Amendments.

Build a focussed REFORM caucus consisting of members of both parties in the US Senate from existing & newly elected senators (Yes, there ARE patriots in the Congress…)

Link up with House members who are working on a similar effort.

DENY BOTH major parties the ability to form a majority and organize EITHER chamber until an ironclad, written agreement is secured to put each individual Reform Amendment AND the full Bill of Reform to a roll call vote in each Chamber by date certain.

Release caucus members to their respective parties (alternatively, maintain caucus unity for the duration of the 120th Congress).

The Bill of Reform (or ANY individual Reform Amendment) may NOT PASS in the 120th Congress, but Americans will be watching. Patriots will be identified and the self-serving careerists will be marked for removal in 2028-2030-2032.

Volunteer: There is a task for every Liberty-minded Patriot in Texas!

Support financially: Put your FAMILY FIRST but we need resources to spread the message of LIBERTY & REFORM in Washington, DC & throughout the great State of Texas.

Engage: Contribute to the effort to refine and finalize the Bill of Reform Amendments.

Join: Your local Libertarian Party County organization (contact the campaign for info if needed).

Boycott: The TX GOP & DEM primaries on 3 Mar 2026 (and any subsequent runoffs).

  • Both major parties are FAILING Texans “bigly”.
  • Vote FOR a candidate with positive ideas; don’t settle for the lesser EVIL!
  • All candidates of the “duopoly” parties are politicians—either seeking a promotion to or pleading for just one more term in the Swamp…on YOUR dime!
  • Send a message: the “party” is over”…LIBERTY & REFORM are coming!
  • Voting in either primary “registers” you with that Party for the 2026 election cycle AND precludes you from participating in the Libertarian Party of Texas’ convention process.


Attend: Your precinct/county Libertarian conventions on Tuesday, Mar 10/Saturday, Mar 14. (complete a Contact Form and the campaign will connect you with YOUR LP Texas County Chair).

Become a Delegate: To the District and State Convention of the Libertarian Party of Texas.
